Introduction
The Government of the Republic of Cyprus and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia signed a Protocol of Cooperation on Research and Development on the 15th April 2005. The Protocol of Cooperation was signed in the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation between the Governments of the two countries in the fields of Education, Culture and Science. A Joint Research Cooperation Programme was launched on the 2nd April 2007, inviting parties / cooperating partners from the two countries to submit research proposals. The deadline for the submission of proposals was the 15th June 2007.
